Scientific priorities

* Studies on soil erosion processes and methods for soil erosion control at diverse soil, climate and management conditions;
* Updating databases from soil erosion studies at natural and simulated rainfall conditions;
* Development and updating geographic information systems for risk assessments of soil erosion by water and wind;
* Development of machines, devices and technologies for soil erosion prevention.

* Geographic databases for risk assessment of soil erosion by water and wind;
* Geographic information system for assessment and localization of soil erosion risk and optimization of measures to control soil erosion;
* Parameters of the management and soil protection effects of agro-technical and biological measures for soil erosion control;
* Models of natural herbaceous geo-composites for rapid lay down in grass and consolidation of eroded and degraded terrains;
* Machines and devices for erosion prevention tillage of row crops, cereal crops, vineyards and orchards grown on sloping land;
* Advises for elaboration and development of agro-ecological plans and practices for erosion control of agricultural land;
* Training of farmers and specialist on using the funds for erosion preventive agriculture.
