* Research on nutrients – N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Zn, B, Mo, Cu etc. in soil and their behavior in the soil-fertilizer-plant system. Establishment of the soil agrochemical status;

* Development and examination of appropriate methods for soil and plant analyses;
* Dealing with ecological problems, utilization of organic wastes and composts from farms etc.;

* Development of methods for harmful effect elimination of chemical soils contamination and ecological risk assessment;
* Examination and evaluation of new fertilization means and materials.

* Elimination of harmful effect of soil acidity and the elements–Al, Mn;

* Fertilization need assessment and development of up-to-date models for agrochemical service;
* Agrochemical service, developing projects and agreements for producers needs;

* Utilization of industrial and agricultural wastes.
